1. Role of TimeBus
TimeBus acts as a travel marketplace platform connecting passengers with certified third-party bus operators. TimeBus does not operate its own bus fleet directly. Operator schedules, punctuality, and onboard physical amenities are maintained by the respective transport providers.
2. Booking & Ticket Issuance
All bookings made via TimeBus are confirmed upon issuance of a valid Booking Reference ID (format: TBXXXXXXXXX). An official electronic ticket (e-ticket) is rendered digitally. Passengers must present this digital pass or a printed copy alongside a government photo ID upon boarding.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Tickets can be cancelled online through the user dashboard prior to scheduled departure. Refunds are computed as follows:
- Cancellations >24 hours prior to departure: 100% refund (zero deduction).
- Cancellations between 12 to 24 hours: 80% refund (20% fee).
- Cancellations under 12 hours: 50% refund.
4. Demonstration Environment
TimeBus is an educational frontend demonstration prototype. All payments are simulated in demo mode and no financial transactions are processed on real banking rails.
